Tom Utech, iA CEO has been appointed to the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation Board of Directors.
Utech was appointed during the 2026 NACDS Total Store Expo last month and will serve a one-year term alongside fellow new board members Christine Lane, senior vice president of healthcare marketing & communications at Inmar Intelligence, and Scott Robinson, national vice president of corporate partnerships at Cencora.
“The NACDS Foundation plays a vital role in supporting research, education and initiatives that strengthen the future of pharmacy and improve health outcomes,” said Utech. “I am honored to join the Foundation’s Board of Directors and look forward to working alongside industry leaders to advance patient-centered care and help shape the future of pharmacy.”
For more than three decades, the NACDS Foundation has supported community health through pharmacy education, research and engagement initiatives that help address some of healthcare’s most pressing challenges. According to NACDS Foundation President Christie Boutte, the newly appointed directors bring valuable expertise and perspectives that will help guide the Foundation’s continued efforts to advance pharmacy education, research, and patient care.
“As healthcare continues to evolve, collaboration across the pharmacy ecosystem has never been more important,” Utech added. “iA is committed to helping pharmacies and health systems operate more efficiently so they can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to patients.”
