Michele Ross

Meet Michele Ross, a senior solutions engineer at iA®. She joined the organization in 2019. Over the years, Michele has built a career defined by both problem-solving and collaboration. One of her proudest achievements came when she worked with internal teams and customer leadership during a change in leadership to create an executive-level operational design document. The result of this year-long effort was a solution that noticeably reduced the time charged to each site—a win that not only improved efficiency but also brought meaningful value to iA and its customers.

Michele’s approach to her work is rooted in listening. She urges others to “listen to understand, not to respond,” emphasizing the need to focus on truly hearing a customer’s needs in order to find the right solutions. For her, Solutions Engineering is far more than simply producing deliverable documents. It encompasses capturing requirements uncovered in customer conversations, ensuring that every detail is documented and contributing as part of a collaborative team.

Michele draws deep personal inspiration from her late grandparents, who taught her that regardless of education, position or wealth, everyone plays a vital role achieving success, some on the front lines, others in the trenches, but all of equal importance. She loves the tale of Seabiscuit and the concept of rooting for the underdog.

Outside of work, Michele finds joy and relaxation in her garden, tending to plants and enjoying the peace it brings.
