Colin Spellman

Colin Spellman, Enterprise Data & Business Systems Analyst, joined the iA team in 2021 as a finance intern, and he continued to work part time as a financial operations associate during the school year. After he graduated from Penn State University in May 2023, he transitioned into a full-time role.

For Colin, the people at iA are the highlight of his work experience. He appreciates the collaborative environment and the freedom to explore new skills and ideas. The empowering culture at iA has allowed him the opportunity for career development. Colin has a passion for discovering creative solutions, which he has been able to put to use at iA.

One of Colin’s proudest achievements at iA is building a custom server integration. He was especially proud of this accomplishment as he only used tools and resources that were already available to iA, so he had to push the boundaries of what was possible to come up with a new idea. This is a testament to his technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Outside of work, Colin enjoys hiking, running, traveling, cooking, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends. Colin is inspired by his grandfather, who instilled in him the values of resilience and showing up every day with your best effort. This mindset has clearly shaped Colin’s approach to tackling challenges at work and in his personal life.

Colin encourages others to approach challenges with curiosity rather than judgment and embrace opportunities to learn about new technologies or business functions. These principles have guided his success at iA and reflect the organization’s innovative and forward-thinking culture.
